ANGELS OUTREACH: THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Thank you St. John Vianney Parish for all of your generosity and support you have given to the Angel’s Outreach Ministry for the 2017 Children’s Christmas Party. We want to thank all of those who have donated monetary donations or took tag off the tree. We could not do this without your help. Thanks to all who decorate the stage for the party. It was awesome! Thanks for all who came back that Friday to put all the gifts on the stage. Thanks to all the volunteers from St. John Vianney Parish, Powers Catholic School,St. Roberts Catholic Church, Living Word Ministry, St. Peter A.M.E Church, Mike McCarthy and Shirley Hood for Security on the ground, and John Gleason from Genesee County Treasury. Special thanks to Maureen Kelsey her Youth Group for the face painting, her mother Joan who played the organ, Gary Kelsey, the Shiawassee clown club who participated with the children making balloons they all did a wonderful job the children really enjoyed it! Thank you Mrs. Warner and Fr. Firestone for believing in this Ministry. We had 59 families from the community attended we estimated over 235 children and adults from the community who attended. The smile on those children’s face when they receive those gifts from Santa and goodies on the way out the door. The children enjoyed all of the activities. The parents were so grateful. They thanked St. John Vianney for giving this party for their children. There is truly a need in Flint. Thank you to Jim Schaffer and the Christian Service Commission who organized the Giving Tree. They did a terrific job! Thank you Lawrence Morrison his sons, and Jim Rivette, all the students who help brought all the games and trees down for the party and all the set up tables and chairs for the party. We are grateful for all your support. We ask that you all continue to pray for us. Thank you Rosemary Baker for the games and beanie toys for the party they loved it. Thanks goes out to McDonald’s Company on Hill Rd for the Happy Meals toys for the party. Also, thank you Meijer on Hill Rd. This church has some AWESOME people.
