Greetings of Hope!

Due to COVID-19 we have decided we will not have the traditional Giving Tree up in the church this year. Due to the health risk, we are asking for only monetary donations this year. We will use the donations to purchase items for children ten and under. Each child, ten and younger will receive an age appropriate toy, socks and underwear, hat and mittens/gloves, stuffed animal and a blanket.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to gather to wrap gifts this year. Their bag will contain unwrapped gifts. Each family (those eleven and older) will receive a family gift box with personal items, hat/gloves for each family member, laundry soap, dish soap and candy to enjoy. Every family who participated in the Christmas distribution last year will receive a phone call to sign them up for this event. These are difficult and uncertain times. We are hoping that this Christmas distribution will bring some hope into the lives of those who live each day in poverty struggling to make ends meet.

Please send your donation, large or small, to St. John Vianney at 2415 Bagley St. Flint, MI 48504 or drop it in the collection when you come to church. We are so grateful for you and your concern for the families of Flint.

If you would like to volunteer to make this event happen or if you have questions, please call us at 810-239-8710.

Blessings of Hope!
