About Us
Our ministry has been in existence since 1987, and we have a history in our community of providing outreach to impoverished children and teens. The ministry is led by Deacon Anthony Verduna and his wife Susan. This ministry provides a safe place for children to play while, at the same time, keeping them off the streets.
Our Mission
Our mission is to lower gang activity in the area by giving positive role models to the children, keep them off the streets, raise their self-esteem , and help strengthen the vulnerable families in the community, by getting parents involved with their children's activities. We provide valuable services to "at risk children."
The ministry provides education, fun, games, and socialization in a safe environment that these children most likely do not receive. We have children most likely do not receive.
Funding
The ministry is funded by Deacon Tony and his wife, individual donations, grants, and corporate donations. If you can assist us witht any donation, it will be truly appreciated. You can contact us using the information below for more details on donating to our ministry.

Activities
Activities are held two Saturdays each a month.
The 1st Saturday, children learn to play volleyball, basketball, and pool games, along with peer groups and other games. They do arts, crafts, and recieve snacks.
The 3rd Saturday in Camping Out With Jesus (C.O.W.J.), in which the children roast marshmallows and hot dogs, watch animated biblical stories, and enjoy Bible trivia in a large tent. We have guest speakers and performers, as well as three or four fieldd trips per year. The children also get a pleasure from Easter and Christmas parties.
