Rescue Project
The Rescue Project seeks to answer the biggest questions of life:
• Why is there something rather than nothing?
• Why is everything so messed up?
• What, if anything, has God done about it?
• And if he’s done anything, how should I respond?
By answering these questions, we are offered a way of seeing reality and of making sense of the world, history, and life that is vastly different from the story our modern culture tells.
The Rescue Project appeals to those who have been walking with Jesus for years, as well as those for whom Jesus is only a figure in ancient history. It doesn’t assume any background knowledge and is very welcoming to people who aren’t regular churchgoers.
Practical details: The Rescue Project will happen at St. John Vianney on Saturday mornings from 9:30-11:30, from September 12 to November 7, with October 17 off. Each session begins with breakfast, then we watch a video as a large group and conclude with a small group discussion.
